Do I Have To Do Anything Before The Cleaning Crew Arrives?
In order for the cleaning crew to do their job, we ask that you pick up all personal items such as clothing, toys and other household items. The housekeeper will not know where your personal items belong and they are not allowed to go into your closets, drawers, or cabinets to put things away.
Should I tip my cleaning team?
A tip is neither expected nor required. If you choose to leave a tip, the Cleaning team is thankful, please leave it on the kitchen counter. Please call the office 678-395-6710 if you need to add something to your work order. They just want to know the work they performed met or exceeded your expectations.
What If I Need To Reschedule An Appointment? What If My Cleaning Is Scheduled On A Holiday?
We will contact you to reschedule your appointment. Please call our office 678-395-6710 at least 48 hours in advance. You would want the same courtesy.
How Should I Pay For The Service?
We require the payment before we begin cleaning. If you are not going to be at home when we arrive, please leave a check made payable to our maid service on the kitchen counter along with the cleaning supplies you want us to use. Once your clean is done we can send you an invoice with a link so that you are able to pay online with debit or credit card.
Do You Send Teams Of People In To Clean My House?
We make every effort to send the same team to your home for every cleaning. When one or both of your cleaning professionals is ill, on vacation or has a day off we make every effort to send one of the professionals from your team with a substitute. If we need to send a substitute team, a quality assurance check will also be performed on your home for that cleaning. A card will also be left to inform you of a substitute team in your home. We understand the concern of having the same individuals cleaning your home on a consistent basis, but rest assured all of our employees go through an extensive training program to ensure consistent cleaning techniques throughout our entire staff.
Do You Send The Same Team Every Time My Home Is Cleaned?
We try to, but that doesn’t always work out. All of the cleaning techs provide the same consistent service to every customer, so you should feel like you are receiving the same quality service no matter who the cleaning tech is. However, if you would like to make a change, please do not hesitate to ask.
Do We Have To Sign A Contract?
I do how ever have the customer sign agreement to make sure everyone is in understanding of. If you must cancel a regularly scheduled appointment, that you do it at least 48 hours in advance. Our house cleaners are paid for each home they clean, therefore, a cancellation without enough notice to reschedule another appointment directly affects the cleaning tech’s income.
What Time Will The Crew Be At My Home?
We normally work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you require an appointment at a specific time we will need to schedule it for first thing in the morning. Some houses take longer than others and we don’t want a cleaning tech to leave a house before it is completed in order to keep an appointment with another customer.
Do You Carry Insurance For Damage?
Yes. While every effort is made to use great care in your home, sometimes accidents do happen. Our housekeepers are trained to immediately notify our office (and you) if something is broken or damaged so that we can handle the situation as soon as possible. If we should break or damage something, we will make every effort to have the item repaired or if necessary it will be replaced.
Do You Provide The Cleaning Supplies Or Do We?
Because the products we use must meet our Eco-friendly criteria, we provide the necessary cleaning products when we come to your home. This is more economical for you, plus the added advantage of our clients not needing to purchase cleaning products that could be dangerous for them and their families. Of course, if you have specific products you prefer our housekeepers to use, you may have those products available when we come to clean your home.
How Do You Get Into My House If I’m Not At Home?
Most of our customers are not at home when we come to clean. We will make personal and confidential arrangements with you on how to gain access to the house. If we are unable to gain access to your house for a regularly scheduled cleaning, we must charge you a fee of $50 to compensate the cleaning tech for their loss of time and driving expenses.
Do You Check The Backgrounds Of Your House Cleaners?
Yes we do, in fact we will not even consider the recruitment of a new house cleaner unless they have a minimum of 4 verifiable references and a stable previous work history. House cleaners must be bondable, which means no felony convictions.
Why Does The First Time Cleaning Cost More?
It usually takes us longer to clean the house the first time because there are areas of the home that we will be cleaning that haven’t been cleaned in quite a while. We only charge extra if extra time will be required.
Can I hire one of your cleaning professionals directly?
No. A great deal of time and resources is put into hiring our staff. Our service agreement states that you agree not to hire any past or present Simply Special by Connie employee, other than through our office for a period of not less than 2 years from the date that employee last worked for Simply Special by Connie. In the event you feel you must hire this person in spite of the service agreement, our referral fee to you is $2500.00 and is due in full immediately upon employment or use of the past/present employee, regardless if it is regular employment or on a contractual basis.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes we do! They make wonderful gifts. They have been used for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Christmas, and Valentines Day just to name a few. They are available in any denomination with a $70 minimum. We can send them to you or the recipient. Call or email the amount and information, I will send you an invoice and certificate.
What Form Of Quality Control Do You Provide?
Every time we clean your home the cleaning tech is going to leave you a form called a Score Us Card. We would like for you to make sure that all of the items listed on the form have been done in each room that was cleaned. Please return the Rate Us Card to our office so the cleaning tech can receive credit for a job well done. You can also submit your Score Us Card online at our web site it is email straight to the CEO/Owner of the business.
What About My Pets?
We love animals, but sometimes they don’t love us. If you think your pet may become overly anxious while we are there, please make temporary arrangements (such as the garage, a kennel, or a closed off room) while we are in your home.
